Great staff! Always friendly and willing to help. They make you feel number 1. Customer is always right comes to mind when thinking about their customer service. They are always updating their choices of food selection and always making your shopping experience the best it can without breaking the bank! Cheapest prices comparing Shaw's and Hannaford. I never shop for my groceries anywhere else.
Nice looking meats. Competitive prices. Very friendly and knowledgeable workers. My cashier at checkout was training on the register. The associate training her was a good teacher based on my observations.
I love the prices at Market Basket and most of the workers are very helpful. The story about Arthur and the employees that stood behind him is inspirational.
The Tilton store is great. It's clean, well organized and the staff is great. The reason my review has only 1 star is due to my experience today with 1 employee at the sandwich counter. One person can effect the whole store. I shop every Friday evening after work and always order a sandwich and go back and get it after I am finished shopping before checking out. This evening I encountered by far the rudest Market Basket employee at the store. I asked if I could order a sandwich and come back and get it. He just stood there staring at me. I told him what I wanted and went shopping. I went back 45 minutes later and asked if I could get my sandwich. The young man waiting on me looked for the sandwich and the employee who took my order said it's not here I haven't made it. I had to wait 20 minutes for him to make my sandwich. The employee handed me sandwich with no apology for the wait, for not making it nothing! I thanked him anyway he again said nothing! No acknowledgement at all. I believe he must be some sort of manager as he was the only employee not wearing a hairnet a cloth hat instead. This employee is a poor reflection on all your other great employees.
Other than this I've been quite happy with this market.
I love market basket. I save so much money. One thing that could b improved on is fresher produce all the time.
Our experience yesterday, however, not great. We were buying mussels and lobster. The cashier, truly the slowest I've ever seen, was allergic to seafood and couldn't touch our purchases. It became a study in space management for the bag boy, truly the slowest I've ever seen, to get our crustaceans in a bag.
